Musician Scott Campbell has been a friend of mine for years, and I was honored to be able to create the artwork for his newest beat tape, "The Next Step." His work lies at the intersection of nostalgia and futurism, blending old school samples with crisp production. To evoke that, I approached the cover from a minimal perspective, before distressing it physically to give it a more physical quality.
